Vijay is 3D rigger and animator, finishing up his thesis right now at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is passionate about his artwork and is always looking to explore new technology that makes film making fun and a creative process. He is currently back working on his thesis which is set to finish in December 2013. He took a break for a year when he served as a visiting faculty in the design school at Rochester Institute of Technology. He is also collaborating with a talented pool of individuals who are making a short film titled 'One Per Person'. He is working as a rigger for the short film.
Prior to his recent career in animation, Vijay worked as an automotive engineer designing transmission systems in cars for Robert Bosch, GmBH. He completed an undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication and worked in the same domain for two years before deciding to come to Rochester Institute of Technology for his masters in film and animation. When he is not animating, Vijay loves to play games. He also loves solving puzzles or completing jigsaw puzzles with his wife, Smitha.
